Part of our Contract and Installations TeamTalat has started the works of deep interior refurbishment of the Hotel Port Mahón, the most important since its construction in 1956.
We will work for eight intense months to provide this historic building with modernity and better accessibility, expanding 60 rooms, kitchen, restaurant and providing it with a new elevator. We will be ready for our new season in June 2023.
The great challenge we face is the significant expansion of its interior structure and modernization of its facilities, without altering its exterior structure, since it is a building included in the Architectural Heritage Protection Catalog, whose colonial style façade is protected.
The purpose of the owner, Inversiones Pons Marín, is to get the most out of the privileged location in which the historic hotel stands, facing the Mahón harbor. The reform will prioritize the Mediterranean style, quality standards and luxury under the seal and direction of Talat.
