Part of our Team Talat had the great opportunity to be present at the eighth edition of the 3 Diamonds Awards, organized by Mitsubishi Electric. Some awards are already benchmarks and seek to highlight the work of professionals in the air conditioning. They take into account the implementation of innovative technologies and modern infrastructures through the use of the most efficient and sustainable technologies. Each year they recognize the best practices of the sector at national level in terms of energy efficiency, design, indoor air quality and innovation.

Six projects were awarded, out of the 47 submitted, which stood out as the most efficient buildings in Spain in two categories: projects up to 200 kW and projects above 200 kW.

In the category of up to 200 kW, the winner was the store Loewe located in the Lleó i Morera house on Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona. An installation integrated in a luxury environment that has respected the architectural and heritage value of this modernist house. It also has a VRF system and recuperators for air renovation, both of high efficiency, and Leed Platinum energy certification in process.

The Guadalcázar House in Villafranca del Castillo (Madrid), which among the many peculiarities it incorporates for sustainable housing, has a push button with a timer. The person who is going to take a shower can activate a button installed in each bathroom and after six minutes hot water will be directly available. Also the IES Derio BHI Eraikin Berria in Derio (Vizcaya).

In the category above 200 kW, the winner was the Hotel Querencia SevillaAutograph collection, which has stood out for its A energy rating in CO2 emissions, with an open geothermal system that reduces energy consumption considerably. Also finalists in this category were the Joan XXIII University Hospital in Tarragona and the office building in Velázquez 86 in Madrid.

In this pleasant evening, the main objective of these awards is to give visibility and recognition to professionals in the sector, especially in view of the current energy situation, which has inspired our team to continue along this path.
