When the Talat team was commissioned to completely renovate the 70 rooms of the Hotel President in Port d'Alcúdia, we reimagined a hotel space that needed to adapt to the demands of modern tourism without losing its Mediterranean essence.
The project, valued at 2,733,587 euros, gave us 5 months to completely transform the comfort experience that the hotel offered its guests. The complexity lay not only in the magnitude of the investment, but also in the need to coordinate multiple technical specialties working simultaneously and synchronized. We thus established a system of monthly certifications that allowed us to maintain exhaustive control of progress,
More than Air Conditioning
With an investment of more than 812,000 euros, we have created an ecosystem of comfort that encompasses every corner of the hotel.
We started by completely dismantling the existing installations to make way for a new generation of climate technology. We customized the system for each area of the hotel. The rooms receive a specific climatic treatment, different from that of the main areas and common services. This differentiation responds to usage patterns, occupancy schedules and specific comfort needs that we have meticulously studied.
Integral Security
Thus, we work with a fire protection system that combines maximum efficiency with total discretion.
The detection and alarm system identifies the slightest sign of danger and the water extinguishing system is strategically distributed throughout the complex, complemented by manual extinguishers located according to an exhaustive study of evacuation flows.
A sophisticated element that we have also developed is the automatic kitchen hood extinguishing system, a technology that protects one of the areas of greatest risk without interfering with the daily operations of the hotel's catering services.
Energy for the Future
We completely replace the general electrical panels, installing systems that not only meet today's needs, but are prepared for the energy demands of the future.
The overhead lines connecting Building B to Building A provide an infrastructure that allows the entire complex to function as a cohesive unit. Each room now has a completely new electrical installation, designed to support both traditional devices and guests' growing demand for connections for mobile devices and personal technology.
In terms of lighting, we have created an ambiance that enhances the hotel's architecture during nighttime hours, contributing to both the safety and aesthetic appeal of the complex.
Plumbing and Telecommunications
We have developed a plumbing system that guarantees constant pressure, instant hot water and silent operation in all installations.
The general plumbing connecting the different blocks of the hotel has been designed to withstand peak demand without compromising service to any room. The guestroom buildings now have completely new plumbing, while the public areas and services have been adapted to offer maximum comfort.
In terms of telecommunications, we have created a customer data network that far exceeds current hotel connectivity standards. Thus, every guest can enjoy a high-speed connection that allows them to stay connected, without having to give up their vacation break.
Energy Efficiency
Beyond comfort and services, this project has incorporated a strong sustainability component. The new thermal production units, together with the intelligent interconnection of all machinery, have created a system that optimizes energy consumption without compromising performance.
Full automation of the systems allows the hotel to automatically adjust its operation based on occupancy, outdoor weather conditions and usage patterns, resulting in significant energy savings that benefit both the environment and the profitability of the establishment.
We have not only focused on technical solutions but also on following a careful methodology.. The system of monthly certifications allowed us to maintain a constant dialogue with the hotel management, ensuring that each phase of the work was perfectly adjusted to the operational needs of the establishment.
