At Talat we approach engineering with a clear premise: do things in an outstanding wayand that translates into real sustainability, technical re-study and constant innovation.
These three premises combined have led us to key actions for the efficient and sustainable operation of Motorwold,
- Selection of refrigerants with low environmental impact.
- Use of free-cooling and recovery technology.
- Application of a control system BMS (Building Management System) to optimize every kilowatt consumed.

Three key technical decisions to reduce environmental impact
1. ACS with R290: maximum performance, minimum impact
The installation includes two heat pumps with R290a natural refrigerant with a PCA close to zerocapable of generating domestic hot water at 70-75 °C with minimum power consumption.
📌 Technical data: Power ratings of 70 kW and 40 kW respectively.
👉 Although it is a flammable gas, it is highly efficient and forces a high technical specializationgenerating qualified employment, such as industrial engineers.
2. Air conditioning with R32: balance between efficiency and safety
Air conditioning is carried out with R32 gas equipmentwith a PCA of 150which makes them the best value for money option currently available for power ratings >100 kW.
➡️ In addition, an initial partial recovery was eliminated as it was found to be ineffective with high-temperature pumps, demonstrating our commitment to actual optimization of the design.
3. Intelligent free-cooling: natural air conditioning with outside air
We install air conditioners with recuperative cooling by means of free-cooling. This system uses the outside air when its temperature is favorable to cool the interior spaces, no need for compressors.
💡 This assumes:
- Reduction of energy consumption.
- Lower CO₂ emissions.
- Improved operating costs.
Beyond equipment: what sets us apart
✔ Continuous technical restudy
Before executing, we restudied the installation: collectors, piping routes, structural compatibility and actual efficiency. We are not satisfied with the initial plans.
🔹 Noteworthy manifold diameters: 200-8".
🔹 Structural modifications for roof supports and loads
✔ Custom designed BMS merged with KNX.
We designed the Intelligent Control of the entire Motorwold complex integrating KNX technology achieving localized control of air conditioning, lighting or illumination.
📌 Technology developed with Schneider and designed by our team.
✔Record time and efficient execution.
We complete the installation in less than five monthssuccessfully meeting deadlines thanks to a rigorous planning, coordination of each department involved, highlighting the great collaborative work of our BIM department. and unit of Logistics Control and Operational Purchasing
Motorworld is an example of how at Talat we take sustainability beyond marketing. It's conscious design, intelligent engineering and thorough control. And we do it without compromising comfort, safety and performance.
