Talat in India: A Journey of Commitment and Hope
This trip not only represented an opportunity to learn first hand about the reality of the most vulnerable communities, but also to formalize TALAT's collaboration in the construction of the Residential Educational Center for children with Cerebral Palsy in Dornala (India)..
A project that has touched us deeply, as it unifies the creation of a unique space with the support of children with special needs.
Magdalena Payeras
The co-founder of Talat, in addition to leading initiatives to improve the day-to-day life of her TeamTalatis also involved in actions that seek to improve the lives of those who have not had the same opportunities. Along this path, it has joined efforts with Isabel Pizá Alabern and Bárbara Marqués ColomThey are part of the Vicente Ferrer Foundation team and work tirelessly to accompany communities in India and Nepal in the fight against discrimination, inequality and poverty.
They define this journey of commitment and hope as a unique, emotional and enriching experience.
In Magdalena's case, it was the second time she has traveled with the FVF, but she says she felt the same chills as the first time. The same intensity on a daily basis, deepening the projects of the Vicente Ferrer Foundation.
In addition, on this occasion, they have been fortunate enough to visit remote areas where even foreigners do not go, seeing extreme poverty accompanied by an infinite smile. Without a doubt, they confess that what they are left with is the immense joy and gratitude in their own hearts as well as in the hearts of the people they have met.
The contribution of the entire Talat team has multiplied, I assure you. Because this contribution comes from each and every one of the people who make up our team. The Residential Educational Center in Dornala The center takes care of children who, if the center did not exist, would be abandoned in the street, so the gratitude of the families is immense and you feel it deeply without understanding a word with them.

Joan and Magdalena come back from this trip with the word thank you. Thanks to the Talat team for making possible the contribution of this grain of sand, to the Vicente Ferrer Foundation for bridging the gap between companies like ours and people living in extreme poverty. And above all, grateful to all the people who have been able to meet and who have shared their lives, opened their homes and their hearts.
We have returned with much more than we left with.
