With the new East Grandstand 100% completed to receive the Barcelona in the great game this Saturdayone of the flagship projects of our TEAM TALAT this season is the remodeling of the Son Moix stadium.

After the experience we have gained with the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center in ManacorWe are excited to continue growing in the field of sports facilities, especially playing at home this time.

The works of this first phase consist of the construction of a new grandstand in the lower part of the Sol stand, with a new inclination that brings the spectators only 8.5 meters closer to the pitch. It will also have an overhang that will cover 6,556 spectators on rainy days and protect them from the sun in high temperatures. With this work, the stadium's capacity will be around 23,000 spectators, at a cost of 5.4 million euros.

Under the direction of architect Izaskun LarzabalTalat has been in charge of all the electricity and telecommunications infrastructure, as well as the telecommunications and lighting nodes of the Sol grandstand. Project in which we have many of our operators working under the direction of our technical engineer. Manu Ors Sureda.

Manu, a Mallorquinista at heart and with almost 20 years of experience as a construction manager, confesses the illusion of being able to step on the field, a site he visits almost every day and highlights the enriching experience of being able to work side by side with Larzabal, responsible, among other works, for the remodeling of Real Sociedad's Anoeta stadium, Reale Arena.

Larzabal can boast of having been awarded with the Prix Versailles 2020, one of the most prestigious awards in the world of architecture and design, in association with the Unesco and with the International Union of Architects (UIA)It is considered the most beautiful sports facility in the world.

The stadium competed for this award alongside the spectacular Al Maktoum Stadium (Dubai), Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (London), Puskas Arena (Budapest), Papua Bangkit Stadium (Indonesia) and VTB Arena Dynamo (Moscow).

The award values innovation, creativity, reflection of local heritage, and also components such as sustainability, energy efficiency and integration, both social, cultural and economic, factors that are also being taken into account in the current Son Moix project, which is scheduled for completion in 2024, without interrupting the activity on the field, to the delight of the Bermellona fans.
