Robosapiens was born in 2019 as a robotics project of students of the Sant Pere School to participate in the First LEGO League Balearic Islandsbeing First Prize. In 2022, it went directly to Second Prize Engineer SOY in the FLL Grand Final Spain Cargo Connect.

This season they participated in the challenge Super Powered, achieving the First Prize Engineer SOYqualifying for the FLL Grand National Final Cartagena 2023where we obtained the 3rd FIRST Values Award and a classification to the Western Edge First Lego League Open in Californiawhich will be held this May 12.

We were fortunate to be able to collaborate with their project from the very beginning and, last week, we welcomed the students to discuss the final details before their big trip. After making a presentation to our Team Talat about the project, they were able to take a tour of our Palma office.

Robosapiens, in addition to building its own robot, has devised a system for storing energy from hydrogen. Combining the talent of its students, good teamwork and the help of companies in the sector, along with other professionals in the field of energy, have made it possible to carry out part of this project.

"With everyone betting on the young promises in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, and thanks to them, the scientific project that this group of young people have devised can continue to advance and, perhaps, one day it can be implemented in our homes", explained from the school.

At the California championship, teams will have the opportunity to experience three full days of competition and interaction with students from around the world. In this competition, students from 9 to 16 years old participate in research, solving real problems related to energy, programming and engineering, building and programming a robot that must perform different missions and designing an innovative project. In order to be able to carry out this adventure, the students of the school in Palma de Mallorca have started a fundraising campaign through the GoFundMe platform.

From Talat, we hope that this new experience will inspire you to remain curious and to maintain your passion for robotics and technology. The world is constantly evolving and more and more people are needed to face the challenges of the future.

"You have the opportunity to continue working on projects that can change the world. And this, from Talat, we will always support you. This is always your home," he said. Magdalena Payeras, co-CEO of Talat.

"Don't forget that learning and development never ends. There is always something new to discover and learn. We encourage you to continue studying and deepening your knowledge, but, above all, that you continue to enjoy everything you do." he concluded. Manu Ors, Talat's technical engineerHe is a construction site manager and, no more and no less than a father of three little ones.
