Our Team Talat made its presence felt this Wednesday at the Palau de Congresos de Palma to celebrate one more year the APDayA meeting that has become an obligatory and satisfactory appointment for the executives and managers of our islands.
This year the main themes were Planet y People, through two round tables with leading experts.
They have analyzed the current situation of our oceans, climate change and the reality of the implementation of circular economy models by: Kike Ballesteros, Oceanographer and Biologist from National Geographic; Pablo Rodríguez Ros, PhD environmentalist at Marilles Foundation and Chisco Garcia Founder of 3S Institute, Think Tank of Sustainability and Member of the Advisory Board of Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
This round table, called PLANETA, was moderated by Juan Alba Pizá, CCO of Adalmo Waste and Environmentwaste management company that we have been working with for many years since Talat, to manage our sites in a more efficient and respectful manner.
Meanwhile, Sonia Ojeda Garrido, director of the APD Baleares area, moderated the round table called PEOPLE, in which they talked about the culture of care, exemplary leadership and mental health in companies. Ignacio Martinez Mendizabal, paleontologist and Professor at the University of Alcalá; Elena Perez Cabello, Chief Human Resources & ESG Officer Hotelbeds and Laura Rojas Marcos Ph.D., Doctor in Clinical Psychology.
